What is GTX?
GTX stands for Giga Texel Shader eXtreme and is variant under the brand GeForce owned by Nvidia.
The first Nvidia GTX product introduced in 2008 with series 200.The first one is GTX 260 and littile expensive was GTX 280.Nvidia GPUs used a naming scheme that has GTX/GT as a prefix followed by their model number . Basically there are three main architecture type.
